Two TV Shows You Must See Before You Die
Archer can be an animated television show based on the exploits of a dysfunctional spy agency ISIS. The highly quotable witty banter is impressively written, and is also carried out by the brilliant voice acting of the all-star cast. Pinoy Tv Tambayan
Sterling "Dutchess" Archer, a womanizing spy with a knack for narrowly saving the day after his outlandishly childish and irreverent behavior endangers everyone around him, is the world's most deadly spy. Archer's mother, Malory, played by Jessica Walter of Arrested Development, will be the head of the spy agency and subsequently his boss. Malory's drug abuse, passive aggressive demeanor, and seeming not enough any compassion whatsoever, appear to explain where her son's obnoxious behavior, and numerous insecurities come from.
Aisha Tyler plays Archer's ex-girlfriend and fellow field agent, Lana Kane. Her tough attitude, quick thinking, seductive talents, and freakishly strong, giant hands make her one of the best agents in the field. Romantic tension between Lana and Archer persists through the show, creating hilarious moments which are not soon forgotten.
One of my favorite things about the show is the constant barrage of witty one-liners, literary references, and quirky character moments. The jokes seriously come too quickly to keep up with sometimes, making each episode highly re-watchable. Running jokes and themes are peppered throughout each season, rewarding long-time fans with the show, and creating character depth.
TIM & ERIC AWESOME SHOW, Best wishes!
"Tim & and Eric Awesome Show, Best wishes!" is one of those shows that you either wish to death or don't realize. While the brilliantly bizarre, at times quite disturbing, humor has brought me to tears with laughter often times, I completely forgive anybody that is left scratching their heads... or potentially running for the toilet to vomit (from time to time the show could get a little too gross for my taste). Creators Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim have an unusual grasp of methods to make the absurdly strange hilarious.
The brand of comedy offered by "Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Best wishes!" is created by manipulating that a feeling of unbearable awkwardness we feel when watching a horribly produced cheap public access program. The acting is intentionally terrible, which can be usually a boring and poorly executed comedic technique affecting shows like Saturday Night Live, Mad TV and others. While I can not explain how it is about Tim & Eric's excellently terrible acting that makes this crazy television so terribly watchable, I can say that it is only enhanced with the charmingly awkward filming and editing that goes into each scene. The offbeat timing of dialogue and unnaturally timed change in scenes create hilarious sequences that keep delivering laughs because of the incessant strangeness.Pinoy Tv Shows
Then there are the guest actors. I don't know how or where they find these people, but my best guess is because they find homeless people on the street, give them a shower and a cheap, ill-fitting outfit, and start rolling. You gotta love this show. Great Job!
